Two legends of Theater and Dance photographed by Jack Mitchell
have died within days of each other.Comedic giant Neil Simon
died August 26, age 91.
The New York Times did a beautiful
tribute and short documentary about Neil Simon's life and work,
and several of Jack Mitchell's beautiful photographs of
Simon and his first wife Joan were a part of it.

Today, August 30th, Paul Taylor, the great dancer/choreographer passed away.
The New York Times chose one of Jack Mitchell's beautiful
color photographs of Paul for their obituary. Here it is, along with a few others:
